Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Squaro, operated by SquareCut IT Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Squaro, you agree to these Terms. If you're using Squaro on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on that organization's behalf as well as your own.

2. The service

Squaro provides team chat, project and task management, file sharing, and daily-update collaboration tools organized into "workspaces". Each workspace's projects, members, and data are kept separate from every other workspace on the platform.

Squaro provides browser-based real-time audio and video communication between authenticated users using WebRTC, including 1:1 calls, group calls/meetings, and screen sharing. Squaro does not provide PSTN/mobile telephone calling, telephone numbers, SIP/PBX services, or interconnection with public telecommunication networks.

Squaro also lets a participant record a call or meeting locally on their own device, after every other participant has been shown and has agreed to a consent prompt. A recording is never uploaded to or stored on our servers — see Section 6 below for your responsibilities when using this feature, and our Privacy Policy for how it's handled.

3. Accounts & registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscription plans, trials & billing

New workspaces start with a free demo period. After it ends, continued access requires an active paid subscription plan. Plan prices, team-member limits, and project limits are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase and may be updated by us going forward; a change in pricing does not retroactively change what you already paid for a period already in progress.

Payments are processed by Razorpay and are billed in advance for the billing period you select.

Refund Policy. You may request a refund within 3 days of purchasing a subscription, subject to review and these Terms. After that 3-day window, subscription payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where we approve an exception. Eligibility is always determined from the purchase date and time recorded by our payment system, not the date shown by your device. To request a refund, contact us at squarecutsolution@gmail.com or through our Contact Us page. Deleting your account does not by itself qualify you for a refund.

5. Changes, downgrades & cancellation

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your workspace's Billing & Subscription page. A downgrade is only allowed if your workspace's current usage (team members, projects) already fits within the new plan's limits — otherwise you'll need to reduce usage first. If you cancel, you keep access for the remainder of the period you already paid for; it simply won't renew afterward.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Squaro to:

If you record a call or meeting, you are solely responsible for that recording — how you store it, share it, and use it, and for complying with any laws (including recording-consent and wiretapping laws) that apply in your and your participants' locations. Squaro provides the in-app consent prompt as a tool to help you obtain that consent; it does not itself make your use of a recording lawful, and we are not liable for how you or any participant uses a recording made this way.

7. Your content & data

You retain ownership of the content you and your team create inside your workspace (messages, files, tasks, and so on). We don't claim ownership of it. You're responsible for having the necessary rights to any content you upload.

8. File storage limits & automatic deletion

Each plan has a maximum file upload size and a smaller warning threshold, shown on the pricing page and at the time of upload. Files up to the warning threshold are kept normally. A file above the warning threshold (but still within your plan's maximum) is still accepted, but will be automatically deleted a set number of days after upload — the exact threshold and number of days depend on your plan. A file above your plan's maximum size will be rejected and is never stored. You are responsible for backing up any large file before it is automatically deleted; we are not liable for the loss of a file removed under this policy.

9. Third-party payment processing

Subscription payments are handled by Razorpay. Your use of Razorpay's payment services is also subject to Razorpay's own terms.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep Squaro available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access — the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

11. Suspension & termination

You may stop using Squaro and cancel your subscription at any time.

We may suspend an individual account, or an entire workspace, if we reasonably believe it's necessary to investigate or respond to a violation of these Terms (including the acceptable-use rules above), a valid legal request (see Section 12 below), or a security concern. A suspension records the reason, who issued it, and when — it isn't automatic or undocumented. If you believe your account or workspace was suspended in error, or you have information that should be considered, contact us using the details in Section 18; an authorized member of our team will review the case and record a decision. Submitting a document or explanation does not, by itself, automatically lift a suspension — it triggers a review.

We may terminate an account or workspace outright for a serious or repeated violation of these Terms. Where reasonably possible, we'll tell you why.

12. Legal process & information requests

Where we receive valid legal process — such as a court order, subpoena, or warrant — from a government or law enforcement authority with jurisdiction over us, we may be required to disclose specific account or workspace information in response. We review each request before disclosing anything, and disclose only what that request actually authorizes. See our Privacy Policy for how this process works in more detail.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

Squaro is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SquareCut IT Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Squaro.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above, and — where you haven't already accepted the current version — you'll be asked to review and accept it again before continuing to use Squaro.

17. Grievance Redressal

As required under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we have a designated Grievance Officer who can be reached at squarecutsolution@gmail.com for complaints about content on Squaro, a violation of these Terms, or how your personal data has been handled — see our Privacy Policy for full contact details and our response timelines.

18. Contact us

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Support section inside the app, or to SquareCut IT Solutions directly.
